Joshua M. Rosenthal, MD, FACS
Joshua Rosenthal, M.D., is Board Certified in both Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and Sleep Medicine as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His practice specializes in the treatment of adults and children in all aspects of Otolaryngology. He is also certified by the American College of Surgeons in Head and Neck Ultrasound and performs ultrasound guided biopsies of the neck and thyroid in the office. Together with this high resolution imaging, he offers “true” minimally invasive surgery of the thyroid and parathyroid, reducing pain, recovery, and incision size, with Dr. Rosenthal, a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, completed his medical school training at New York Medical College and his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center, training under a nationally recognized thyroid/parathyroid surgeon. He has authored numerous publications regarding the thyroid and parathyroid in major peer-reviewed journals including his specialized minimally invasive techniques . He holds the academic appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Stony Brook University School of Medicine and is an Attending Physician at Huntington Hospital. Seeking out addition training in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Rosenthal is able to provide both medical and surgical managments where appropriate. He is one of only a few doctors that can offer a truly individualized treatment plan, with a multitude of options. Surgical innovations have allowed patients who previously could not tolerate management of their Sleep Apnea, new avenues of treatment.
